“Building strategic programs and what we can learn from other industries.”

Michael Lourie is the new director of marketing and communications at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, joining the hospital at the start of 2015. During his previous eight years with Anheuser-Busch, he held a variety of positions, including brand manager of import, craft and specialty brands, director of corporate communications, and international communications manager. Michael also worked at public relations agencies in New York and Chicago, focusing on crisis management and media relations for food/beverage and pharmaceutical companies. Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s of business administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
